The CSIDE Fundamentals course for Content Server provides an in-depth understanding of the functionality of the Content Server IDE, the application development component of the Content Server SDK. You will learn how to customize a Content Server application, including both the underlying functionality and the Web interface, with overviews of the REST API and Smart View architecture.
- Create modules to package customizations for easy installation and upgrades
- Write code using OScript, Content Server¡¯s programming language
On completion of this course, participants should be able to:
- Create request handlers to process new functionality
- Add new types of items (nodes) to be stored and managed by Content Server
- Add new interface components and modify the current interfaces
- Integrate code into the Content Server object system in supported ways
